Care from our church community extends from our neighborhood to the rest of the world.

Church and Society

Our Church & Society team (C&S) coordinates our social justice and mission actions. Throughout the year, we raise funds or initiate drives to collect items to support various community groups such as Elizabeth Gregory Home, United Churches Emergency Fund, The Atlantic Street Center, Wesley Club, the Islamic Center of Eastside, Lutheran Community Services and others. We also coordinate activities in advocacy, speaking up for those most vulnerable, writing emails, calling legislators, or marching in the street. Global Missions

We support Katherine Parker, a Methodist missionary serving as a Health Advisor in Nepal
Maasai Environmental Resource Coalition (MERC) working to retain traditional Maasai lands in East Africa. She specifically works on clean water availability and women's health.
